Ayurveda
Ayurveda, ‘the Science of Life’, is a comprehensive system of health care that originated in India centuries ago. Ayurveda is as much concerned with enhancing the quality of life and the prevention of ill-health as it is with the treatment of disease. Its fundamental therapeutic approach is to address the root cause of any imbalance, so that symptoms subside naturally, healing can occur, and genuine strength, health and vitality develop from within. Although Ayurveda is firmly embedded in Indian philosophy, its principles are universal and can be beneficially applied in any culture, country or climate.
An initial Ayurvedic consultation with Rebecca or Sascha will include taking your pulse and relevant history to arrive at an understanding of where you are right now: physically, mentally and emotionally. In case of imbalances on any of those levels, a tailor-made plan will be recommended to help you restore and enhance your health and well-being. This could include food supplements, Ayurvedic hands-on treatments, diet and lifestyle changes, cleansing procedures or psycho-emotional processing tools like Shadow Work.
To book a consultation, please contact Rebecca or Sascha and let us know suitable dates and timings that would work for you. We ask you not to eat any food for three hours before the appointment, because digestion influences the pulse and thus interferes with an accurate reading. Water, tea or juice can be drunk any time before.
Initial consultation (1 hour):£60
Follow-up consultation (up to 1 hour):£50
