Sascha Kriese

Sascha Kriese

After an initial career in theatre, Sascha began his studies in Ayurveda and pulse reading in 1998 with his mentor Pankaj Naram in Mumbai. Having completed an Ayurvedic degree course in London and several years of clinical internship in India, he set up the Ayuseva practice in 2004 with his wife Rebecca while also working on behalf of the Ayurvedic Professionals Association (APA). Since 2007 Sascha has been teaching pulse reading in the UK, Austria, Germany and The Netherlands. He regularly runs seminars, has written forewords and pre-publication reviews for several Ayurvedic books, and supports Ayurveda students and colleagues as a mentor. He is also a trained Shadow Work coach and group facilitator.

Arriving at Hackhurst Farm in 2021 helped Sascha to pivot his personal and professional focus towards more connection with Nature and seasonal rhythms. Engaging in community-building activities like circle gatherings, celebratory rituals and fire ceremonies, as well as exploring ancient trauma-release modalities has expanded his scope of authentic expression in both life and work. Recently, Sascha began apprenticing in the art and practice of grief tending.
