Abhyanga
This full-body massage with warm, herb-infused oils both invigorates and rejuvenates the body and helps restore a calm and grounded sense of inner balance by stimulating vital energy points (marma points). It calms the nervous system, relieves pain, improves circulation and supports detoxification, thus allowing an experience of deep rest and stillness. Enhance the effect of this massage by following it with a half-body infrared sauna [link to page]. As the heat warms the body from within and heart rate gently increases the muscles relax, both internal and peripheral blood circulation is stimulated, and endorphins that serve as natural analgesics are released.
Full-body abhyanga: £90 (90 minutes)
Infrared sauna after massage: £25 (30 minutes) please bring your own towel.

Pindswed
This specialised massage involves the therapeutic application of heat with a bolus (filled with warm herbs), which is used with particular strokes over the whole body or around particular joints or areas of pain. Pindswed improves circulation and loosens toxins; reduces water retention, swelling and excess fat tissue; stimulates lymphatic drainage; supports the clearing of mucus from the lungs and relieves muscle and joint pain. The gentle penetration of warmth into the body also makes this treatment a very relaxing and soothing experience.
This massage can also be given as a shorter treatment on a localised area where pain, stiffness, inflexibility or poor circulation are experienced.
Full-body pindswed: £90 (90 minutes) plus cost of boluses (see below)
Localised pindswed: £55 (45 minutes) plus cost of boluses
A set of 4 boluses costs £10. After the first treatment they can be stored for up to 3 months for you to reuse for a maximum of 3 subsequent treatments.

Neck & Shoulder Massage
Warm medicated oils are massaged into the neck, shoulders and upper back region using specific strokes that relieve tense or constricted muscles. This treatment helps to reduce muscle pain, improves mobility of the head and neck, restores flexibility and movement of the shoulders, and increases circulation to the head region, thereby relieving tension headaches.
£65 (1 hour)

Shiro Dhara
Shiro dhara involves the pouring of warm, medicated oil in a continuous stream onto the centre of the forehead. This deeply relaxing treatment helps to relieve tension, anxiety, insomnia and headache. It reduces high blood pressure, improves concentration and mental clarity, and also promotes hormonal balance. This treatment culminates with a gentle head and neck massage, leaving you feel rested and emotionally held. Many find their racing minds slowing right down and they drop into a deeply meditative state.
£70 (1 hour)

Heart Dhara
A circular dam made of flour is placed on the chest, and warm medicated oils and herbal decoctions are continuously poured over the heart area. This gentle, soothing treatment produces deep relaxation, is effective for relieving anxiety and fear; helps to calm, ground and stabilise both mind and emotions, and is used as a highly supportive treatment for cases of high blood pressure, chest pain, palpitations and various heart conditions.
£60 (50 minutes)

Other Dhara Treatments
The same dhara technique is also used in the treatment of bladder conditions (bladder dhara), kidney disorders (kidney dhara) and lower back pain (traditionally known as kati basti).
Different herbs and medicated oils are used according to the area being treated and the nature of the condition.

Abdominal Massage
Abdominal massage is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that can help alleviate a wide variety of health concerns, especially those related to digestion such as cramps, constipation and bloating. This massage increases blood flow to the abdomen, alleviates menstrual as well as lower back pain, releases physical and emotional tension, and promotes relaxation. Both therapeutic oils and warm poultices are used in this treatment.
£55 (45 minutes)

Pregnancy Massage
This soothing oil massage is ideal for supporting you in easing the strain of pregnancy and helping you connect with your baby. It can be used safely during all stages of pregnancy and is received whilst relaxing in a side position with pillows to provide extra comfort and padding.
A pregnancy massage promotes relaxation and helps to reduce stress and anxiety. It can also support better sleep, improve circulation, reduce swelling, promote respiration, reduce shoulder tension and relieve musculo-skeletal pain, particularly in the back, hips and pelvic areas.
£90 (90 minutes)

Myofascial Release Massage
This treatment uses light, manual pressure and stretching techniques to work the myofascia (connective tissue) and broad networks of muscles that may be causing stiffness, pain or restriction within musculature or joints. The techniques help locate trigger points at the source of discomfort, which is not always found where the pain originates or is most prominently felt. The treatment will aid the affected tissue and supportive muscle sheaths to release pressure and tightness, thereby reducing pain and helping the tissue to become pliable and elastic.
This release treatment may be given as a stand-alone treatment or combined with other Ayurvedic massage techniques.
£65 (1 hour)

Nasya
This treatment involves a face massage and gentle steam followed by the administration of medicated oil into the nasal tract. Nasya helps in the treatment of sinus congestion, common cold, headaches, allergies and ailments of the head and neck region. It cleanses and rejuvenates the sense organs and improves memory and concentration.
